Dirty Laundry, Hollywood

Dirty Laundry brought to you by Mark and Jonnie Houston of Houston Hospitality has officially opened its doors.  The brothers have reformed this space, which was once Rudolph Valentino’s basement speakeasy where Rudolph, along with the starlets of his time, would escape to the underbelly of Hollywood Boulevard.

Upon arrival to this underground escape, you will have a code that you must find in the call box to grant you entry. And in true Houston fashion, the décor pays homage to the history of the space bringing to life vintage wallpapers that have heard many-a-story; along with an inviting arched brick entry, antique lighting fixtures, tufted banquettes and beautiful tile work.

Cocktails here are a modern day twist on the most prominent classics.  Drawing from the exuberance and the decadence of the golden era, we mix vibrant and fresh ingredients with modern techniques and flare.  Infused spirits, house made syrups, one-of-a-kind tinctures and bitters will transform the traditional bar favorites into instant classics.  And our unique punchbowl laundry service is available as well.

Guests can also have an intimate experience in the Valentino room with its own private bar and plush seating.

Each week will have programmed DJ nights with special guest DJ’s making surprise appearances from time to time because some things must be kept on the DL.  Oh, and don’t try to use your phone, this secret escape has no reception.

Open Tuesday-Saturday 10pm-2am.
