With Thanksgiving right around the corner, now is the perfect time to make those last minute holiday plans. Check out the following festive locations who are kicking off the holiday season with special packages, delicious menus, and exciting events.

New York

The Chatwal, A Luxury Collection Hotel (
Located just steps from the Avenue of the Americas and the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade route, The Chatwal offers guests an in-person experience to a Thanksgiving tradition with boutique hotel accommodations. Thanksgiving visitors have the option to sit fireside in The Lambs Club Restaurant or in the Mezzanine Lounge, while enjoying a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. Featured appetizers include the Lambs Club Bucatini with Crab, Calabrian Chili, Saffron and San Marzano Tomato; and Country Style Pork Terrine with Jicama, Mustard Seed and Chanterelle Mushrooms. Main dishes will include a Roasted Heritage Turkey Breast complete with Glazed Turkey Leg, Celery Root, Barley and Cranberry-Turkey Jus; Roasted Diver Scallops with Fennel, Grapes, Cauliflower and Pine Nuts; and Red Wine Glazed Beef Short Rib featuring Yukon Gold Potato,  Braised Swiss Chard and Horseradish. Desserts will include: Pumpkin Spiced Cake, Assorted Chocolate Bonbons, Egg Nog Ice Cream and more.

Bacchanal (

This eclectic modern bistro opened on the Bowery this summer and just last month Chef Craig Hopson (Picholine, Le Cirque) took the reins in the kitchen. The result is a menu of refined yet relaxed dishes that make the most of Hopson’s impeccable technique and flare for flavor.

This Bowery hot-spot is the perfect place to dine with friends and family on Thanksgiving with a fantastic value of $55 per person. Forego stuffy or formal spots – head downtown to Bacchanal where they’re putting a twist on the traditional Thanksgiving with menu highlights including a hearty Chestnut Pappardelle with duck and chanterelles ragout, Carnival Squash with buckwheat and apple cider miso broth, and Foie Gras Huckleberry Stuffing as a side.

The special Thanksgiving menu includes 3 courses per person (various options within each course), plus five sides served family-style and four delicious desserts, also family-style.

The Regency Bar & Grill (
Located at the iconic Loews Regency Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, The Regency Bar & Grill is offering a prix-fixe three course menu this Thanksgiving. Executive Chef Dan Silverman created a menu featuring modern American cuisine with updated classics that combine local New York produce with international flavors in a contemporary fine-dining setting. The prix-fixe menu includes:

  • Roasted Butternut Squash Soup with Pumpkin Seed Crumble & Cinnamon Crème Fraiche
  • Roasted New York State Turkey with Chestnut-Sausage Stuffing, Sweet Potato Gratin & Brussels Sprouts; Sauteed Greens & Olive Oil Breadcrumbs; Roasted Baby Carrots, Chilis & Mint
  • Pecan Pie with Candied Orange & Bourbon Maple Cream

Rhode Island

Castle Hill Inn’s Thanksgiving Dinner (November 27)

Castle Hill Inn’s pristine 40 acres in Newport, Rhode Island beautifully embody the natural abundance that Thanksgiving celebrates, and Executive Chef Karsten Hart’s gourmet cooking superbly showcases the bounty of the fall harvest. Guests will give thanks with a festive feast, priced at $78 per person (plus service charge and tax). The lavish meal will kick off with family style appetizers such as chilled shrimp cocktail, beef rillettes en croûte and confit turkey with pecan stuffing croquettes. For the main stage, an elaborate buffet and carving stations will serve herb roasted Helger’s Farm turkey, roasted Black Angus prime rib and baked cod, along with exquisite fixings, such as ciabatta bread stuffing, haricot verts, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, white bean salad, Brussels sprouts, roasted apples and bacon. A selection of pastries and tarts will also be served for dessert, including pumpkin pie, chocolate ganache torte, apple crumb tart, sweet potato cupcakes and cranberry jellies.


The Rittenhouse – Philadelphia (
Philadelphia’s iconic Rittenhouse will be celebrating Thanksgiving with an all-day brunch at the hotel’s gourmet restaurant Lacroix.  Between 11 am and 7 pm, from guests can choose from a menu of seasonal favorites, including Deep Fried Turkey Breast and Rettland Farms Ham, as well as a slew of delicious sides, including Cranberry Sauce, Sweet Potato and sage marshmallowand cornbreadas well as three kinds of stuffing – traditional, oyster and pear walnut.  For dessert, guests can indulge in Apple Pie and Sweet Potato Tart.  Full menu available upon request.  $95 per person 


Turnberry Isle Miami (
Thanksgiving at Turnberry Isle Miami promises to be a treat for the entire family! For an all-American feast, the resort’s renowned chefs will prepare traditional Thanksgiving dishes of turkey and all the trimmings for guests to enjoy in the festive Grand Ballroom ($70 per adult, $32 per child). For a gourmet dining experience, Turnberry Isle’s award-winning Michael Mina restaurant BOURBON STEAK is offering holiday-inspired specials including Roasted Butternut Squash Soup, Wood-Grilled Free Range Turkey, and Classic Pumpkin Pie in addition to its superb a la carte menu. Other fun activities at the resort include Kidz n’ Kitchenz where kids ages 7-12 can learn how to make homemade dishes and treats alongside Turnberry’s experienced chefs ($25 per person), complimentary cocktail demonstrations of BOURBON STEAK’s Pumpkin Smash fall cocktail, and delicious cookies and hot apple cider in the lobby lounge.

New Orleans

Hyatt Regency  (
Q Smokery & Café at Hyatt Regency New Orleans will be offering a Thanksgiving feast to go, which will include a savory slow smoked turkey with southern style gravy, cranberry sauce, a choice of two of the following: collard greens, mashed potatoes, almadine green beans, or sweet potato puree and a choice of either pecan or pumpkin pie for dessert.

Vitascope Hall is putting a New Orleans twist on the Thanksgiving tradition, offering Cajun Roasted Hen Turkey, French Cranberry Dressing, and Sweet Potato Fries alongsidePapa Tom Grits Poppers, Grilled Jumbo Shrimp and Andouille Gravy. For dessert you can have your choice of Old Fashioned Apple Dumpling, Carmelia Panna Cotta, Chambord Cranberry Cheescake and Pumpkin Praline Bread Pudding.
