Located next to the Encore Beach Club, Casa Playa is taking Vegas by storm with its authentic Coastal Mexican cuisine blending traditional dishes served with a modern flair. The décor of Casa Playa highlights Mexico’s colorful culture with Mayan statues and cascading marigolds hanging from the ceilings.

Executive Chef Sarah Thompson, (formerly of the acclaimed Mexican restaurant Cosme in New York City) brings a level of culinary creativity and robust flavor profiles to the city of sin. A graduate of the CIA and New York-born food connoisseur, Thompson’s inspiration draws from the hidden playitas found along the shores of Mexico. Combining this style of Mexican cuisine with a passion for flavor evolution and Casa Playa certainly delivers. Putting her twist on authentic Mexican flavors Thompson’s menu of playful dishes bring a level of creativity that is second to none. Begin your experience with the yellowfin tuna tartare with avocado and pasilla chiles. Next, the Mexican blue shrimp ceviche with soothing flavors of coconut, tomatillo and cucumber offer the perfect amount of freshness and heat to heighten the senses. Nothing screams seafood heaven better than the shareable tower for two showcasing Kusshi Oysters with a prickly pear mignonette, King Crab Legs, Lobster Tail, and Shrimp Cocktail.

What would a menu of this stature be without an array of award-winning libations? Wynn’s expert mixologist Mariena Mercer Boarini delivers a curated collection of thought-provoking cocktails inspired by the spirits and produce of Mexico while agave expert Noah Arenstein oversees the mezcal and Tequila selection that has been said to be the most extensive on the strip.
