Whether she’s interviewing Hollywood royalty, hosting E! News in head-to-toe glam, or sharing wild travel tales on her chart-topping podcast LADYGANG, Keltie Knight knows how to command attention. But behind the dazzling red carpets and the viral moments is a woman who has found power in packing light, saying yes to soul-driven destinations, and showing up, authentically as herself.

This year, the multi-hyphenate powerhouse is taking that philosophy to the next level with the debut of LADYWORLD, a three-day destination festival in Florida born from the wildly popular LADYGANG podcast she co-hosts with Becca Tobin and Jac Vanek. The all-female experience is part summer camp, part pop culture playground, and all about connection. We sat down with Keltie to talk travel, empowerment, and how this jet-setting creative finds meaning whether she’s in Tuscany, on the Orient Express, or curled up at home with her dog and fuzzy socks.

You’ve built an incredible career that’s taken you all over the world, from red carpets to backstage tours. What has travel taught you about yourself as a creative and a storyteller? Travel has taught me that no matter how far you go, you’re still taking you with your flaws, dreams, overpacking tendencies and all. The stories aren’t always on the red carpet they’re in the cab ride, the flight delay, the woman next to you doing her skincare routine at 35,000 feet. It’s a wild ride but to be able to say things like “Oh, I’m flying to Rome to interview Tom Cruise” still blows my mind.

As someone constantly on the move for work and fun, what are your go-to tips for staying stylish and centered while living out of a suitcase? Matching sets. Always. They make you look put-together even when you’re fully falling apart inside. I also swear by a silk pillowcase, a mini steamer, and keeping a to go bag packed that never gets unpacked. I always try to pack some extra gratitude. Seriously, nothing centers you faster than remembering how lucky you are to be exhausted in Paris.

Whether it’s covering a major awards show or escaping for a wellness retreat, how do you decide where to go next personally? I go where my soul says yes. If it’s a wellness retreat, it’s because I need to exhale and put myself back together. If it’s an awards show, it’s because I still love the glitz and chaos. I trust my gut and my Google calendar. My biggest extravagance is free time and I consider it priceless.

You’ve called Los Angeles home for years. What keeps you rooted here when you’re not hopping on a flight, and what makes LA such a travel-worthy city in your eyes? LA is where my dog and books are. That’s the real answer. But also sunrise hikes, my amazing job at E! News, and the fact that you can rollerblade past someone doing downward dog with a Hailey Bieber smoothie in hand. It’s chaotic magic.

From your time as a professional dancer touring globally to now hosting and producing, has there been one city or culture that’s left a permanent stamp on your heart? I just went to Cartagena, Colombia and loved everything about it. The fashion, the food, the colors of the buildings, the slow coffee-drinking life. It made me romanticize everything, even my own jet lag.

As someone who travels often, do you have any rituals or routines to make hotel rooms feel more like home? I mostly just unpack everything in a flurry and make a huge mess until I have to leave and then pack it all up again. I can really human tornado a hotel room- so it’s just like at home!

Your job often brings you face-to-face with Hollywood’s elite. Any memorable travel stories that happened en route to an interview or during a whirlwind assignment abroad? My most insane 24 hours. I was covering the met gala in nyc, had the leave that carpet early and rush to the airport to fly to London to catch a ride on the Orient Express for a movie junket and by the time I woke up we were zooming through the alps. Like what?

If you had to plan your ultimate LadyGang girls’ getaway, where would you go, and what would absolutely be on the itinerary? Tuscany. It would be wine, vintage shopping, pasta, dancing under the stars, and probably a group cry about how far we’ve come. And then more pasta.

When you’re traveling, do you seek out inspiration for future podcast episodes or creative projects? Any destinations that sparked something big for you? Always. We actually just did an entire episode about the insanity of traveling and all the rules we think all travelers should follow. We also shared our most insane travel sightings like the man who was cutting his toenails on my flight recently!

What’s your ultimate carry-on packing list, those travel MVPs you never leave home without, especially for red-eye flights or long hauls? AirPods, Drowsy sleeping mask, book, giant sunglasses, that ugly blow-up pillow you have seen on Instagram that you can put your face down in (yes I use it), and a snack. A diva needs options.

We love how LadyGang empowers women to be bold and unapologetic. How do you think travel plays into that sense of empowerment and independence? Traveling solo or even with your girls teaches you that you’re capable. You navigate, you communicate, you order in broken French, and you do things that scare you. That’s powerful.

Between filming, producing, and live events, how do you find time to truly disconnect? Do you have a secret getaway spot to unplug and recharge? I love hiking and camping or anywhere I can wear sweats, drink tea, and not talk to anyone for 48 hours. I don’t always get to unplug but when I do, I really unplug.

As someone who’s made a name for herself both on-camera and behind the scenes, has your travel style evolved over time, glam jet-setter or comfy and casual? I used to wear heeled boots and full street style outfits to the airport. Now? Matching LADYGANG sweat sets and sneakers.

You’ve built a brand around honesty, humor, and hustle. How does that translate when you’re in a new place, surrounded by different people and environments? I just try to be myself. I’ll compliment your outfit, ask you deep questions way too fast, and tell you where I got my boots. People connect with authenticity, no matter the zip code.

Finally, after all the flights, hotels, events, and adventures what does “home” mean to you these days? Is it a place, a feeling, or maybe just a perfectly packed suitcase? Home is where my husband, my dog, and my fuzzy socks are. But honestly? Sometimes home is a plane seat, a cup of tea, and knowing that I’m doing exactly what I love.
