L’Ermitage Beverly Hills: A Golden Year of Glamour

This fall, L’Ermitage Beverly Hills marks a milestone worthy of celebration: fifty years of timeless luxury, iconic service, and unforgettable moments. Since its debut in 1975 as the nation’s first all-suite hotel, the property has stood as a symbol of Beverly Hills glamour, its legacy shaped by quiet elegance and its reputation polished by decades of impeccable service. Now, on the occasion of its golden year, L’Ermitage has unveiled the final touches of a multi-year reimagination, positioning the hotel as fresh, vibrant, and every bit as iconic as the neighborhood it calls home.

The anniversary unfolds as a season-long celebration, complete with bespoke fashion collaborations, golden-inspired cocktails, and rooftop gatherings designed to usher in the next chapter of this storied hideaway.

Among the highlights of this golden year is The Golden Closet, a whimsical giveaway experience created in partnership with global luxury brand Golden Goose. Guests who book stays between October 15 and November 15, 2025, will be entered for the chance to win one of three exclusive rewards. The grand prize includes two pairs of the brand’s coveted sneakers, a co-creation session at the Golden Goose flagship on Rodeo Drive, and a co-branded welcome amenity: the playful Golden Goose Sneaker Dessert. Additional winners will also enjoy this sweet creation alongside a gift certificate to the boutique. By marrying Italian artisanal flair with the hotel’s understated luxury, the giveaway turns a stay into a moment of both style and surprise.

The celebrations extend to the newly reimagined rooftop, Poza, where golden-hour gatherings and spirited collaborations bring the skyline to life. In partnership with Beluga Vodka, the bar debuts the $150 Beluga Gold Line Legacy Martini, crafted with pear brandy, Dolin Blanc vermouth, and an herb-and-olive oil infusion, finished with Russe Select Osetra caviar and a gleam of gold. Every Saturday evening through October and into early November, Poza sets the weekend in motion with Sunset Sessions. DJs spin soulful, upbeat sets as guests sip curated cocktails and savor light bites while enjoying the only 360-degree rooftop views in Beverly Hills.

The golden year also coincides with the completion of L’Ermitage’s ambitious transformation. Among the most exciting debuts is Costa Covo Osteria, the hotel’s new signature restaurant that infuses coastal Italian flavors with Hollywood-inspired glamour. Handmade pastas, fresh crudo, and refined classics such as Tagliolini al Limone topped with caviar redefine the dining scene with an approach that is spirited, stylish, and sophisticated. Costa Covo joins the chic Alcova lounge and the rooftop destinations of Poza and The Arhaus Terrace, completing the reimagined property and cementing its place as both a hideaway and a hub for Beverly Hills.

Even as it reinvents itself, L’Ermitage remains committed to the quiet luxury that has defined its reputation for half a century. Recognized as the longest-tenured all-suite hotel with a Forbes Five-Star rating in the world, the property also holds Two Key status from the MICHELIN Guide. Its 116 suites remain some of the largest and most luxurious in Beverly Hills, with the crowning jewel being the 4,450-square-foot L’Ermitage Suite, which features a private screening room, spa treatment room, and even a personal office with a fireplace. Wellness seekers are equally indulged, with Joanna Czech’s only Los Angeles studio and Ricari Studios’ tech-forward treatments both housed onsite.

L’Ermitage’s golden year isn’t just about looking back at a half-century of history; it’s about embracing what comes next. With fashion collaborations, rooftop martinis laced with gold, a new Italian restaurant, and a refreshed sense of fun, the property feels more alive than ever, an intimate retreat that honors its legacy while boldly stepping into the future of Beverly Hills hospitality.
