Luv Surf San Diego Beach Rentals

San Diego is known for its playful atmosphere and laid back charm so with that attitude in mind we decided to visit Luv San Diego Surf, a full-service, pet-friendly boutique vacation rental company. Each beachside rental home is situation in the heart of Mission Beach surrounded by ocean breezes and beach style neighborhoods. This nearby property made traveling with our boys Miller and Dublin easy and convenient.

Whether your family is small and prefers a charming seaside bungalow or you have a large group and would feel more comfortable in a three-story home, Luv Surf has many options to suit your needs. Each home is fully equipped with all the amenities you would find at home in addition to a personalized concierge staff.  The team at Luv Surf provides exceptional service for a worry-free vacation from making restaurant reservations to stocking your fridge to recommending local entertainment.

Not only are these properties pet-friendly, they don’t charge a dime for your four legged family member to stay, regardless of size. Included in every vacation rental are pet amenities that make any dog feel at home: pet beds, doggie doors, treats, dog toys, and food bowls.

The boys favorite properties:

Miller and Dublin recommend staying at 816 Island Court, the newest addition to the Luv Surf family. This contemporary 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home located just 10 homes from the beach and a short stroll to popular area attractions provided them with all the comfort they could need.

This impressive, newly renovated beach home sleeps up to 10 guests. Key amenities included wood floors, a spacious open-concept kitchen, furnished outdoor patio and a BBQ. Plus the home has an outdoor shower which certainly came in handy after Miller & Dublin’s trip to the beach.

When Miller & Dublin put their requests in for a more spacious property their beach retreat of choice is 750 Yarmouth Court. With three stories of fully-furnished rooms an attached two-car garage, a third-story upper deck with amazing views of Mission Beach, it’s no wonder the boys feel right at home. Key features include granite countertops, comfortable bedrooms and baths on each floor, a large-screen TV and more.

During our stay at Yarmouth we ventured out to nearby restaurants for lunch and dinner and didn’t feel the least bit guilty leaving the boys at the rental home. With its wide interior they didn’t feel cramped and a view of the beach made for some relaxing down time. One of the afternoons we headed to The Swell Café (formerly known as Café Mono) for breakfast where dogs are welcomed to sit on the patio and bask in the San Diego sun.

On the days that we did return to our temporary home sans dogs, we were greeted by two lively pups that were ready to have their own adventure. Based off Luv Surf’s official Mascot, Gordie the Golden Retriever, we headed to Coronado’s Dog Beach. This dog beach is absolutely pristine and it was obvious locals and tourists respected the location as it was perfectly maintained. Miller and Dublin were free to explore the beach without any restriction, off their leashes.

If a short weekend getaway is what you’re looking for and wish to bring your dogs, Luv San Diego Surf is the ideal location to feel right at home with the whole family.
