You must give everything to make your life as beautiful as the dreams that dance in your imagination. –Roman Payne
If you have ever dreamed about escaping from everyday life and living out the rest of your days in an island paradise where your every wish is fulfilled, the place you’ve probably dreamt about is a lot like Cap Juluca.
We think of Cap Juluca as the Lady of Anguilla. She has been welcoming discerning travelers to the British West Indies island of Anguilla for more than 25 years. Those who have been her guests are drawn to return again and again, captured under her spell. Today, she is as fresh and lovely as ever, enthralling a whole new generation of pleasure lovers.
Cap Juluca sits majestically on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Maundays Bay Beach. The sand under your feet at this crescent beach is like velvet, and the calm crystal waters are a heart-stopping shade of aquamarine that defies description. Stretched across this gorgeous beach are Cap Juluca’s signature whitewashed Greco-Moorish style villas, world-renowned for unparalleled luxury, elegance and privacy. The resort is absolutely stunning in its beauty and ambiance.
Cap Juluca is named for the rainbow spirit of the Arawak, Anguilla’s earliest inhabitants. The legend goes that Juluca was a mystical being covered with fine and colorful feathers, said to bring luck to fishermen. Perhaps it’s this namesake of Cap Juluca which has worked its magic here, as there is truly something beguiling about her. To stay at Cap Juluca is to be entranced by her – dazzling sugar white beaches beckon, and the warm turquoise waters bathe your soul with light and energy. At Cap Juluca, you may wander lush tropical gardens gleaming against terracotta pathways, or indulge in an icy mojito under the shade of a swaying palm. Cap Juluca opens her arms and makes you her treasured guests.
Newly refurbished guest rooms and villas reflect Cap Juluca’s harmony with the ocean and are designed with your every comfort in mind. Each spacious room is beachfront, granting the most glorious views of the sea just beyond plantation shutters. Cool, light rooms are splashed with colors of the sun and sea and reflect an exotic elegance. Featured are every modern convenience – wireless internet, minibar, refrigerator, spacious marble bathrooms with delicious amenities and DVD. Your private terrace looking onto the sea will be your special place to unwind and enjoy the bliss of this resort.
The hospitable staff of Cap Juluca are truly some of the nicest people on earth! It is their pleasure to serve. “Are you enjoying your stay?” they will ask. “Is there anything I can do for you today?” From the General Manager to the bartenders to the housekeepers, this is a place where the staff knows you and greets you by name. The personal and gracious way of life at Cap Juluca is truly a refreshing step into the old-world Caribbean.
A day at Cap Juluca can pass in relaxation or activity, whatever you might desire. After a sumptuous beachside breakfast buffet at “Blue” (which is included as a part of your stay), luxurious beach beds and umbrellas await on that magnificent beach. Situated for privacy down the length of the almost mile-long beach, you will feel like you have this little bit of heaven all to yourself. Your nearby cabana bartender brings your personal ice chest filled with frosty bottled water, as well as towels, cocktails, chaise-side meal service, and – the highlight of every afternoon on Maundays Bay Beach – the 3:00 o’clock service of tropical flavored sorbets.
Next, surrender to a relaxing massage at a beachside cabana or in the intimacy of your own room. If you’re in the mood for a little more activity, this resort has just about everything you could wish for – water skiing, wakeboarding, kayaking, snorkeling or catamaran sailing to name a few. Land lovers can play tennis at Cap Juluca’s tennis center or golf at the nearby championship Greg Norman-designed course.
In a nod to its British heritage, tea and scones are served every afternoon in Cap Juluca’s magnificent open-air lobby underneath the golden orbs of its dramatic yet whimsical chandelier.
Cap Juluca’s restaurants offer world-class dining. Dinner at Pimms Restaurant with its breathtaking setting is a must. The ambiance is elegant, private, and very romantic – dine in the shadow of silver-pale arches as the sea gently laps the shore and the lights of Cap Juluca twinkle just beyond. The menu features the finest in fresh seafood and meats, blending Caribbean and European flavors. The setting, impeccable cuisine and attentive service are the hallmarks of Pimms and make for an evening to remember.
Spice, Cap Juluca’s popular waterfront lounge offers exotic drinks and a light tapas menu featuring Moroccan-inspired fare as well as local favorites. Against an Arabian-style décor of red and gold cushions and rich upholstered draperies, lanterns cast their glow as international rhythms play, making you want to linger over one last cocktail.
At the end of a perfect day, Cap Juluca rocks you to sleep, whispering her hypnotic charm over you as you sink into downy pillows and become one with the gentle song of the sea. She is an enchantress to be sure, but there is no happier spell to fall under, than that of Cap Juluca.

A widely celebrated restaurant, Blanchards has been wowing Anguillan locals and visitors alike since 1994. Softly lit tropical gardens and the Caribbean Sea lie just beyond your table. Veya
High amongst the treetops over Sandy Ground, Veya entertains its guests with a bona fide gourmet dining adventure. The restaurant is evocative of an elegant treehouse – its wrap-around veranda is cozy, the natural wood interiors glow in the dim light and ivory gauze curtains flutter at the open air windows framing giant fan palms. Jazz drifts softly from the bar, setting a trendy vibe.
Both the wine list and the menu are impressive. After cocktails, you’ll be served a basket of the chef’s famous piping hot Johnny Cakes, and trust us, you will want to ask for more! Thankfully, the restaurant offers a five-course tasting menu for those who just can’t decide from the extensive menu! An evening at Veya is an event – don’t miss it!
