VIRGIN FEST to Debut in LA this June

This year marks 50 years of Virgin, the trailblazing brand hailed worldwide for breaking rules and disrupting the status quo in every industry they play. In perfect harmony with its birthday, the brand will debut its inaugural Virgin Fest, a multifaceted weekend festival on Saturday, June 6th and Sunday, June 7th in Los Angeles at Banc of California Stadium & Exposition Park. With a diverse lineup of talent, cutting edge technology and an unwavering commitment to people and planet, Virgin Fest is the music festival of tomorrow, delivered TODAY.

“My love of music led me to start Virgin Records nearly five decades ago. I’m thrilled that Virgin’s musical heritage lives on through Virgin Fest.” said Virgin founder, Sir Richard Branson. “We look forward to bringing Virgin’s expertise in customer experience, innovation, and entertainment to our festival in Los Angeles, a place that has always been very near and dear to my heart. ”

The Los Angeles event will take place across multiple stages throughout Exposition Park, merging the outdoor festival experience with the convenient accommodations of Banc of California Stadium including shade, comfortable seating, and hydration stations. The lineup for the inaugural festival is set to announce in early 2020 accompanied by the official public on sale.

Unlike current offerings in the space, the multi-day experience will feature Virgin’s contemporary edge and world-class hospitality, while honoring its social responsibility to the surrounding community and the planet at large. Virgin Fest is conveniently located in close proximity to several Metro stations and will encourage the use of public transportation with more details to follow. The festival is handpicking vendors whose shared values and policies comply with the festival’s commitment to sustainability. Additional environmental initiatives include the banning of single-use plastics through a reusable cup deposit system (a first of its kind in California) and the use of biofuels and solar power.
